Mural Lingo 10-Year Rebrand

I worked closely with the art director of Mural Lingo for the 10-year anniversary rebranding, creating a more playful feel.
Client: Mural Lingo

The wordmark is constructed with a custom typeface and 3 dots overlapping one another.

The letters overlap each other candidly. Each letter has a white highlight, giving it a candid feel.

The 3 colored dots pay an homage to Mural Lingo’s first logo. It resembles an elipsis, which is a signifier of continuation, also implying an underlying meaning beyond the surface.

Development of custom typeface

A core element of the project was developing a new typeface, inspired by Bauhaus93, with a touch of doodle-like and playful qualities

Initial Sketches
A set of characters were also developed to complement the playful direction of the branding, inspired by painting tools frequently used by Mural Lingo, which would be used across platforms and for merchandise.
